Below is a list of files. These may be downloaded individually or by using the last item in the list (an archive that includes all 11 tasks). Each item is available as a ZIP archive for use on the Windows platform, or a Stuffit archive for use on the Macintosh. The purpose of your working with some or all of these files is to help us qualify your talent and capabilities with some typical examples of the type of work we see on a regular basis.
Inside each archive you will find a small "read-me" file that explains what we are specifically looking for. Keep in mind that your ability to estimate your time is critical to your long-term success with us; not necessarily with 100% precision, but close enough that your advance estimate is good enough to get the business, and that your fulfillment on your estimate will result in a profitable experience for you. With this in mind, you need not fully complete any or all of these files. We've estimated that it should take no more than 75 minutes to do the requested work on all 11 files, and we hope that your willingness to invest 1-1/4 hours will be worthwhile for you. There is no deadline; work at your leisure, but please be honest in your estimations and self-assessment.
When your work is completed, please compress your finished work into an archive and use your e-mail address as the file name of the archive you return to us. You need not return to us the bitmap files which you download, unless this is specifically requested in the ReadMe file for that task. Any typesetting you perform should be converted to outlines (curves) with a notation made alongside the artwork to let us know which font you used. Thank you!
Your completed work should be compressed and returned to us via e-mail.
